More Than Just Floor Plans:
Prior to this portfolio, I hadn't given much thought to turning my ideas into complete projects. However, these house plans fit nicely with my goal of demonstrating a knack for handling complexity. It will take some time to sort out each concept, as a typical project may include floor plans, cut-away elevations, finished elevations, isometric and perspective drawings, site plans, and structural plans. I'd go so far as to work out the lighting and landscaping; there's no limit to the information one can put into this endeavor.

Most people who are creative have strong opinions on house design; these range from what to put on the living room wall to whether or not the living room wall should be there in the first place. For me, working through home plans has always been a hobby that consumed at least half of my drawing output, (the other half was cars), and being so important to me I decided to devote a section to the practice. Please see these projects as exemplary of thorough design—efforts that calculate a vast number of factors and are refined over a series of attempts to get everything correct.
